I believe Joshua 6 can be read in an allegoric manner where the seven days and seven rotations around the city of Jericho represent the Sabbatical completion.
I believe Joshua 6 can be read in an allegoric manner where the seven days and seven rotations around the city of Jericho represent the Sabbatical completion. The wall falling can be seen as the veil. The destruction of the wicked and the Israelites taking their place in the promised land representing the earth receiving it's paradisical glory and becoming the celestial kingdom or promised land. I love how everything in scripture and life is meant to teach us of our Father, Savior, and their plan of happiness.
