I receive revelation frequently as I'm waking up. It comes almost as someone speaking to me, I would call it a still, small voice. It will whisper one line to me that hits like an epiphany. It resonates so perfectly I know it is from God. The feeling is amazing. As I wake and should be slightly tired, the voice fills me with energy and excitement. Sometimes it's a single revelation; most times it's another line upon line regarding something I've been pondering for a while. I am grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost and that our Father speaks to us and loves us.

Hezekiah reinstated the passover in a manner that hadn't been practiced since the time of Solomon, inviting all the children of Abraham from both kingdoms. Of those who attended, not all were ritually cleansed as the law required, but Hezekiah prayed to the Lord and said "The good Lord pardon every one That prepareth his heart to seek God, the Lord God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary", and the Lord answered his prayer.

This is a powerful moment in the Old Testament where we obtain a glimpse through the ritual of the lower law given to Moses and into the true law of sacrifice. "Every one that prepareth his heart to seek God" - just as an animal is prepared for sacrifice, so we are commanded to prepare our hearts, or hearts broken and hewn by sin, as an offering to place on the altar of God. He will take our broken heart and contrite spirit and put into us a new heart and we are changed, a truly new person, through the power of the Atonement of Christ.

In His mercy, the Lord accepted the plea of Hezekiah and blessed those preparing their hearts, in the time of the preparatory law, to experience a glimpse of the higher law.
