God did not snap His fingers and the entire earth was instantaneously created.
God did not snap His fingers and the entire earth was instantaneously created. We know it took work and time. Just as He created something magnificent out of chaos, piece by piece, line upon line, He too can perfect us bit by bit. It doesn't happen all at once; work is an eternal principle for us and God. However, if we let Him, we can become more beautiful, complete, and divine each day.
Sometimes we may feel that because we are not perfect, because we fall short, we're not good enough. It is important to remember that at the end of each phase of the creation, God did not ask "why is this not complete yet?" He said "it is good". As we strive to be a little more complete, walk a little closer to our Savior, I believe God will see our progress, even though incomplete, and say "it is good".
Nothing beautiful is created immediately.
