Just like any other of us, Peter couldn't walk on water, he could only take steps.
Just like any other of us, Peter couldn't walk on water, he could only take steps. As he took those steps, the Savior took care of the rest. We can't walk on water, we can't move mountains, we can't part seas, and even if we could accomplish these feats, we cannot overcome the effects of the fall - we cannot save ourselves. But that is not our job. We continue to press into the unknown, one step forward at a time, two hands on the rod, and our Redeemer takes care of the rest.
