We have a Heavenly Mother. While this is not the source of the doctrine, it's beautiful to see the subtle implication here in this scripture - especially when learning about the tree of life and true joy.
We have a Heavenly Mother. While this is not the source of the doctrine, it's beautiful to see the subtle implication here in this scripture - especially when learning about the tree of life and true joy. I can't imagine eternal life, knowing God, without knowing our loving, Heavenly Mother.
Why would the angel specify "after the manner of flesh" if not to differentiate from our Savior's spiritual mother?
1 Nephi 11:18 And he said unto me: Behold, the virgin whom thou seest is the mother of the Son of God, after the manner of the flesh.
