Scripture MemoryPremium

A simple way to learn a verse by heart. Hide a few words, say the verse out loud or type it, and see exactly which words you had and which you missed.

How to use it

  1. Open Games and tap Scripture Memory. Tap a verse in the list, or type a reference under Add a verse and tap Add.
  2. Choose how many words to hide next to Hide and tap Remove words. Each tap hides more.
  3. Tap Say verse and recite it, or type it into the box. Fix anything the phone misheard.
  4. Tap Submit. You get a score, and any words you missed are marked both in the verse and in what you said.
  5. Hide more words and try again, or tap Show all to see the whole verse.

Good to know

  • A verse is learned, and gets a ★, when you say it word for word with every word hidden.
  • Each blank is as long as the word it hides, which is a helpful hint.
  • Punctuation doesn't count against you, and small slips like "revealed" for "revealeth" are forgiven.
  • If your device can't listen, just type the verse.
