Solomon, the wisest of all kings, the builder of the temple of God was warned directly by the Lord to not abandon the Lord.

To make political allies, a wise endeavor of kings, Solomon married many non-Israelite women and eventually started worshipping their gods.

While we should not ostracize those of different faiths, putting ourselves in a position to be the minority where the voice and influence of other philosophies is louder than our single voice, leads to accepting the ways of the world and turning from God.

Just as we must meet together as the body of Christ often to progress, surrounding ourselves in a different body is a sure way to regress.

Trust in the Lord, and lean not into thine own understand.

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

Stand in holy places.


As much pain is caused by those looking to offend, even more is caused by those looking to be offended.

Turn the other cheek, give the benefit of doubt, forgive, recognize we are all human and imperfect, have mercy.
