Ezra "was a ready scribe in the law of Moses [and had] the good hand of God upon him...
Ezra "was a ready scribe in the law of Moses [and had] the good hand of God upon him... For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments" (Ezra 7: 6,9,10).
How can we be a ready scribe in the words of God? How can we have the hand of God upon us? When we prepare our heart to seek God's will, and do it, and teach others to do it, we become ready. Ready to learn, grow, serve, and have joy. We must prepare ourselves and be ready always as Christ taught.
"And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut." (Matthew 25:10)
"Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." (Matthew 24:44)
